Kaylin, who goes by KJ, grew up just outside of Austin in Dripping Springs, Texas.

"Growing up, everyone told me that I was born to be a hairstylist and that it was my calling." 

 

So with a passion and love for all things hair and beauty, she began her career at the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute in Austin. To jump start her career, she apprenticed at a high-end salon in Austin where she found her niche and began perfecting her craft in blondes, Hand-Tied Extensions and Brazilian Blowouts.

 

In her free time, she and her dog "Jo" help "supervise" her boyfriend as he builds their first home!
